Presenter – The New Comcentre: where the worlds of Sustainability and Technology come together

Track 2C: Smart, Data-Driven & AI-Optimised Buildings | Thursday, 10 July 2025, 2:30 PM

The New Comcentre project will set the standards for new buildings when the best of technology and sustainability come together. It will be the first AI-enhanced building powered by 5G+ connectivity, supported by Singtel.

The New Comcentre will be the first building in Singapore to achieve end-to-end carbon neutrality encompassing design, construction, and operations. Underscoring its holistic approach to sustainability, the New Comcentre is on track to be the first building in Asia to achieve “Triple Certification” comprising: Green Mark 2021 Platinum Zero Energy Certification, 2nd edition (5 Sustainability Badges), International WELL Building Institute WELL v2 Core Platinum Certification, International Living Future Institute Zero Carbon Certification version 1.0.

The targets of 50% Reduction in Energy Consumption and a 30% Reduction in Embodied Carbon are ambitious but both Lendlease and Singtel believe that with the best minds at work, the New Comcentre will lead the way ahead.
