Dr André Monteiro

André Monteiro graduated and held a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Aveiro (PT). Before joining ArcelorMittal, he has worked as R&D Engineer in several Universities in Europe and as Structural Engineer working mainly with special modelling and design.

André joined ArcelorMittal in 2019 as Technical Sales Engineer, where he has been working closely with the local ArcelorMittal agencies and the main AEC entities worldwide, promoting value engineered and more sustainable solutions with ArcelorMittal high-performance and greener steel sections, mainly in high-rises and large infrastructure projects. André is based in Luxembourg, sitting next to ArcelorMittal Heavy Sections mill.
