Presenter – Punggol Digital District: The Vision of the Future

Track 2C: Smart, Data-Driven & AI-Optimised Buildings | Thursday, 10 July 2025, 4:30 PM

Master-planned and developed by JTC, Punggol Digital District (PDD) spans 50 hectares as a smart, sustainable district that attracts digital leaders in fast-growing tech sectors such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, robotics, fintech, and smart living. However, PDD’s future extends beyond just technology and infrastructure. PDD is thoughtfully integrated with the surrounding residential neighborhoods, featuring green corridors that connect to the waterfront—inviting residents and visitors to enjoy lifestyle and recreational activities. The district will also offer vibrant new public spaces with diverse retail, dining, and leisure options, providing a welcoming environment for the community to relax and unwind.

PDD is a showcase of Singapore’s Smart Nation ambitions. As a next-generation business district equipped with cutting-edge digital infrastructure and smart urban systems built from the ground up. These include real-time data platforms, AI-powered building management, and sustainable energy and mobility solutions. By bringing together government agencies, tech companies, and the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) within one collaborative ecosystem, PDD serves as a dynamic testbed for innovation. This integrated approach accelerates the development and deployment of urban technologies, allowing successful solutions to be scaled and applied across Singapore’s other precincts and communities.

IGBC-SG 2025 Delegates can sign up to attend the Site Tour to PDD on 11 July 2025 for a more detailed look at the District as well as the SIT Campus.
