Tjhin Poi Chung

Mr Tjhin Poi Chung joined SMRT in June 2022, as the Head of Applied Rail Technologies department, overseeing the development and deployment of Digital and Condition Monitoring solutions for SMRT Trains.

Tjhin previously worked in ST Engineering between 2018-2022. He was the Head Operations of Land Systems between 2021-2022, overseeing its corporate functions and business units in the US. Prior to this, he was the General Manager of a subsidiary company, and Vice President in rail electronics business.

Before joining ST Engineering, Mr Tjhin served in the government sector for 22 years, holding positions related to engineering, maintenance and logistics. He was a board member of ST Logistics from 2014-2017. He was conferred the Public Administration Medal (Silver) (Military) in 2015.
